One of the greatest of boons for content providers or information providers who wish to continue supporting their work has been the ability to capitalize on their work by using advertising media. The foremost of these advertising giants has been Google Adsense.
Chris Pirillo is one such content provider. In his YouTube presentation he talks about how he can earn from Adsense. He also discusses how placement and size of adsense advertisements can affect the earnings by making it more conducive for readers to click on the adsense ads without having to tell them to do so. Of particular interest is his idea that a well placed ad should not convey to the reader that this is actually an advertisement but rather a summary of information related to whatever the reader has been reading on the website or blogpost.
