Twitter - The New Internet Marketer Gold Mine

Twitter is getting to be one of the most popular of social media, with at least 12 million accounts at last count. From its initial purpose of providing a “service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing? “ it has progressed to become a potential goldmine for internet marketers with something to sell to their followers.
For those new to the subject, followers are those with Twitter accounts who have elected to follow you so that every update you send on your account will be seen on their timeline. You can get followers by inviting people to follow you, whether from your blog or other social media. This is, however hard work, and takes a pretty long time if you don’t have thousands of readers already on your blog or other media.
There are, however, programs that have been created, both free and paid, that help you improve your follower count tremendously (especially the paid ones, which promise tens of thousands of followers in a short period of time).
Just imagine the potential market for somebody who has something to sell. This provides a useful addition or alternative to those who are trying very hard to build an e-mail list for internet marketing. It is true that the followers may not be as targetted as those on the (opt-in) e-mail list, but if you have 10,000 followers seeing your update or your sales pitch (which, by the way, is limited to 140 characters only, so you naturally have to put in the link to your sales page), sooner or later someone has to be interested in what you are trying to sell.

I don’t like Twitter because it just waste our time.
Good point! Thanks!
