Making Money With YouTube

For those who have the technical knowhow and the skill to make the most of any possible opportunity available, YouTube offers a new field to play in.

YouTube is a video sharing website where users can upload, view and share video clips.YouTube was created in mid-February 2005. The San Bruno-based service uses Adobe Flash technology to display a wide variety of user-generated video content, including movie clips, TV clips and music videos, as well as amateur content such as videoblogging and short original videos.


The attractive thing about this service is that it is free, both to watch and to upload.  The end result of this arrangement is that the number of video views per month is enormous.  It is estimated that in January 2008 alone, nearly 79 million users watched over 3 billion videos on YouTube.

Just imagine the numbers of viewers available who can be potentially attracted to view whatever you have to post in a video format….

The following steps have been copied from a very useful post on Making Money With YouTube by John Hesston of marketing4millions.com. If you are technically inclined, instructions should be very easy to follow:

Step 1: Pick a product or website to promote. This could be your own product, or affiliate product, or just to get subscribers to your list. If you don’t have a product, then go to http://clickbank.com and pick a product to promote.

Step 2: Create your own video with camtasia studio or get a video from YouTube (make sure you get permission from owner before using)
Then use this link to download the Youtube video onto your desktop http://clipnabber.com/

Step 3: Download a free .flv converter to convert the video into .avi format or mpeg for editing.

Step 4: Edit the video and place your Ad or website address before or after the video with a nice song.

Step 5: Upload the video back to youtube, or use this program to upload to multiple video sites for free
http://www.tubemogul.com.
